ef Supah Preview (Build B) [232MB]
This is a standalone product which contains both the ef - the first tale demo and the entire scenario of ef first fandisc, hence the special name. To run it, you will need Japanese support enabled. Due to technical limitations, the opening cinematic in the Supah Preview is encoded in 800x600 XviD. See below if you wish to download the HD version. Minimum requirements are a Pentium 4/Athlon XP with 256MB of memory, Windows 2000, and DirectX 9.0c.

There are no intrusive translation notes during play. See this page for script annotations. It's only for supah nerds.

This changelog details all the changes from Build A (the initial release) to Build B. Build B is the final revision until ef - the first tale is localized.

 

 

ef - a fairy tale of the two HD Opening (1280x960) [89MB]
This is encoded in x264 and OGG Vorbis using the Matroska container. If you have no idea what the mumbo-jumbo in the previous sentence was, we recommend that you install FFDShow. A dual-core processor or a GeForce8/RadeonHD video card with hardware high-definition decoding capability is recommended for optimal playback.

 

 

ef - a tale of memories ~prologue~ (720x480 16:9) [48MB]
This is a <4 minute preview of the anime adaptation. Yes, other groups have fansubbed it, but we have kept minority spirit better than anyone else: no intrusive fansubber credits, and zero staff translation mistakes. NNL is not fansubbing the actual series, but when it comes to this little preview, we are your best option. Encoded in x264/ogg/mkv.
