This is the opening sequence to the 2002 bishoujo game Majyo No Otya Kai. Please, take some medicine before viewing this or else you'll go insane. We know we did.

| Story... |
My fair Angel was finished a couple of months ago. This was the other opening we decided to do. I searched around GameSpot Japan and discovered this little gem before the game itself was released. The HQ raw was easily available, so we started work on the 10th of September.
Unfortunately, we had problems. We didn't have the official lyrics to this song, but we thought that wouldn't matter. The vocals in the song were beyond belief. Reikoku couldn't translate some parts of the song accurately.
So we asked for translation help from a lot of people. The people we asked online are listed in the credits above, but that wasn't all. We asked three Japanese teachers about the song and they couldn't figure it out either. It looked as if this baby was going to be impossible to translate. The project went into an abandoned status, left for dead in favor of My fair Angel Op.
Two months later, I had a weird hunch. Firing up Google, I searched for the lyrics one last desperate time. Surprise! Some Japanese online gaming site covered Majyo No Otya Kai shortly after its release in October, and their coverage contained... THE OFFICIAL LYRICS! Huzzah! Reikoku re-translated the whole thing from scratch, and we set this sucker to be released shortly after our work on Canvas Op was finished.
There was one more delay because of NNL's year-end sleepover, so it had to be released first thing in 2003. This ended up being our smallest release (in terms of length) while taking nearly 4 months to do! How lame!
We were very surprised when this game was announced by an English company. After poking fun at the release date for over a year, it finally came out in the Summer of 2004. I didn't particularly find their interactive DVD format to be appealing, and the R1 version of the game suffered as a result. They also removed all of the ero. Boo~ |

The typesetting for this is prettier than Canvas' in my opinion... but it still sucks! The subtitle script ended up being a lowly 11kB. Nothing too special about this one either, and I still don't think the lyrics make any sense. |

| Side notes... |
- Majyo No Otya Kai roughly translates to Witches' Tea Party. The correct romanization is actually Majo No Ocha Kai, but the creators warped the romanization.
- Hirameki International has declared the official English name to be Tea Society of a Witch. The funny part is that the name Witch's Tea Party is shown when you input an incorrect game password!
- The song? Only Your Witch, and the singer is U. Insane, isnt it?
- But wait! Hirameki International didn't translate the song! Since they still have the rights to the video, we can't make our fansub available again, but we'll post our translation right here, right now!
M A G I C ONLY YOUR
M A G I C ONLY YOUR
M A G I C ONLY YOUR
ONLY YOUR WITCH
LET'S GO!
Catching and holding on,
Witches, magics, touching you!
This is a mysterious strength.
Witches, magics, catch the handle!
I will show it only to you,
As I fly off to the distant sky!
M A G I C ONLY YOUR [sic] MY WITCH
M A G I C ONLY YOUR
Everywhere...
Exactly, exactly
There are...
Together, together
Ones that are...
Always, always
Not normal little girls.
We've had this secret together,
Yours, a strong ally.
