This is opening sequence to the 2002-03 bishoujo game Baldr Force. Mmm... I've Sound goodness.

There are two versions of this opening. The original low-quality version is the one that came with the CD version of the game released on 2002.11.01. The Baldr Force EXE DVD Op is a high-quality version that came with the DVD re-release of the game on 2003.01.24.

A couple of people e-mailed us about doing something by I've Sound. They're one of the more popular composers/singing groups in the bishoujo game world. You might have heard them from the opening theme of Onegai Teacher.

Work on this one was uneventful, as official lyrics were found easily and the process went off without a hitch. Kyosuke, an editor in Bishoujo-Fansubs, offered to QC the final products for us. He found nothing worth noting. Yay!

Since the original raw was in 320x240, Landcaster applied some filters and upsized it to 400x300 to make it look marginally better. Of course, that still wasn't good enough, but we had nothing else to work with. A day after the original LQ release, someone uploaded the Baldr Force EXE DVD Op to anrp, who then forwarded it to us. Some minor cosmetic adjustments were needed to the original script (such as the green subs not working well with the brighter EXE Op) but they were simple.

And why exactly are the files so huge? Well, it's a fast-action nightmare with LOTS of white noise effects and other jumbly things. Landcaster did his best!

A boring subtitling job and low resolution makes this fansub unacceptable. The EXE version is passable, so watch that one instead.
