Info...

This is a completely fansubbed version of the Japanese demo of Wind -a breath of heart-. You've seen the sucktastic omake OVA, and now you can play part of the equally sucktastic game! The opening movie has been revamped from our original fansubbed version using the DVD source, so replace it with the one contained in this release.

The demo covers about 5% of the full game. Japanese support is mandatory. For details, take a look at the readme.

Story...

The story is contained in the readme. We're actually going to complete the full game, check the Wind Project page for details.

Qualitative rating - 7 [v1.0], 8 [v1.1], 9 [Op]

This demo will be replaced with a final version once the full game is finished. We've already changed the script in order to reflect our current conversion methods. Therefore, this release isn't the best it can possibly be.

The Op was fine-tuned and looks (and reads) much better now. I think I emulated anrp's original effect pretty well.

Feedback...
"They did a really really good job with the translation. I'd even say [it's] better than most [professional] game translations I've seen."
-- relentlessflame, via Animesuki forums

"What a fantastic release. The translations were just fantastic."
-- P. Tran (SySOvErRiDe), founder of NewLifeAnime, via e-mail

"I particularly like the fact that the [opening] movie was of a much higher quality than the [original] one I've seen ..."

Side notes...
  • The Wind Translation Project team have now renamed themselves to insani. The members of the team who are not part of NNL have used the insani name to produce a bunch of other excellent game demos. Check them out!
  • You can go to the original Wind Op info page (03) for some more side notes.
