| Info... |
This is a completely fansubbed version of minori's Haru no Ashioto demos. That's right, demos. minori released a tech demo two months before the retail release of the game which tested a bunch of special effects. Once the game was out, they put up the real demo, covering the first chapter of the game. We've fansubbed both of them and fused both demos into one complete package. This demo also contains our fansubbed opening of the game.
Like the Wind demo, this covers about 5% of the full game. Japanese support is mandatory. For details, take a look at the readme. |
| Story... |
The story is contained in the readme. Oh, how I love not repeating corny tales of reminiscence.

| If I wanted to show someone what NNL was capable of, I'd show them this demo. This truly was a complete effort and goes beyond what most fansub groups are willing to do. Landcaster even used a tablet in order to create some handwritten text for one of the event pictures! It's a shame that Reikoku wasn't involved, though.
The Op karaoke actually works due to the double-line system which debuted in CLANNAD Op. Mmm... it looks good.
Of course, there are some minor problems, but none of them are major enough for me to dock any points. If you're interested, here's the list:
- In one scene, Yuu has awakened Tatsuki after performing a suspicious maneuver. She says Hey, you're awake! Good morning! In hindsight, this line is problematic. Yuu previously explained that Mr. Sun was still up, implying that she came to Tatsuki's apartment after school to tell him the news. Therefore, Good afternoon! would have been more appropriate. See, it's continuity errors like these which separate the crappy editors (like me) from the good ones.
- The readme incorrectly lists the release date as July 1st. It's supposed to be September 1st.
- sagara's real name (Kevin Tardif) is spelled with an extra "f" in the credits.
- The uninstallation process doesn't remove the custom font entirely. I heard it can be fixed by going into the font folder, at which point it will disappear automatically. Then again, why would you want to uninstall this demo?

"You can just download the demo from minori..."
-- olf_le_fol, via Megatokyo forums
(He obviously didn't know what he was talking about. Actually, we'd be pretty surprised if minori acknowledges this horrible fansub.)
"One thing's for certain. If a major [bishoujo] game title were to [ever be] sold to an English speaking market, the producer couldn't hope to approach NNL/Insani's level of workmanship."

| Side notes... |
| None at the moment. |
| Screenshots... |
| You know the deal. Click on a thumbnail for a more suspicious shot. |
| |
But the tech demo portion of the game IS pointless blubbering. |
|
|
A bishoujo game where the protagonist gets dumped? Yay! |

When we say we translated everything, we mean it. |

|
No, Yuzuki! Don't be fooled by those chikan eyes! |
