This is the most retarded show you will ever watch. It's horrible. It's nasty. It's so bad (on an artistic level) that we're not making it available through BitTorrent. If you want to watch this, you'll either have to leech another group's version or come into #nnl to get it. It's so bad that less than 20 people have dared to leech it. It's so bad, you'll wonder why the heck we decided to subtitle this in the first place.

I know you probably wanted a synopsis, but you're not going to get it. ... Okay, okay. Boy saves younger brother of girl, boy moves in with girl, girl hates boy at first, then girl gets a crush on boy. Yeah, that pretty much sums it up.

This episode is ero-free, as only the VHS/LD version of episode 4 had nudity. To no one's surprise, this series has been dropped. We're not finishing episodes 2-4. Read the story for details.

A long time ago in a galaxy right here at home, an NNL fan named Terence told us of a show that no one had touched for nearly six years. We thought this was interesting, and Terence sent us a bunch of VHS tapes. Some of the tapes contained Kakyuusei TV and some of them had the ELF OVA. According to Reikoku, the TV show was even more dull than To Heart and had none of the charm. However, he would bravely agree to translate the ELF OVA. Terence sent the DVDs to Landcaster. These DVDs were some of the first anime DVDs ever pressed. It wasn't much of an upgrade over the VHS version.

All four episodes were translated in about two months. Reikoku became psychologically ill about halfway into the effort, but nevertheless, he ended up finishing his part of the project. He never wants to speak of it again, and he still hasn't watched the release version of this episode.

This show stunk up the place. Everyone in NNL hated it. madgat hated it because he didn't like how the characters looked, Landcaster hated it because it was one of the worst DVD sources known to man, and I hated it because I had to time it. After over a year of sitting on it, Landcaster told me he would delete the huffies sitting on his encoding drive at the end of the year unless we did something about them.

I put in a half-baked effort into the second-pass timing, not doing the usual directional subbing. Landcaster had to reduce the resolution to 512x384 because the source was so ugly.

We all celebrated the release of this episode because we promptly dropped the project as soon as it came out. Landcaster has since deleted his KEO work files and has sent the DVDs back to Terence. I know you meant well, Terence. ... I guess it's the thought that counts. We're sorry we couldn't complete this, but we just couldn't take it any more!

The sad part is that this isn't even our worst fansub. Because it was released so late, there are scene syncs and no noticable TL errors. However, I didn't bother doing directional subs or doing any karaoke effect. If you excuse the crummy source, this is your standard fansub.
