Memories of a Promise
Makoto meets a mysterious girl on the roof. A fragment of his lost memory awakens. He learns that this girl is Minamo Narukaze, a friend from ten years ago. Hinata is full of joy when the three of them gather in the cafeteria the next day, and they catch up on what they've done all this time.

There really isn't much of a story because this episode was completed alongside episode 1. However, Landcaster recreated the opening splash, making it resemble the game interface. It's also under a minute, so all you people who thought the first one was too long will sigh with relief!

In an interesting twist, this was QCed before episode 1 because the subtitle scheme was finished earlier. This episode only featured four characters.

One of the lines in the Op (the line after The promise we made when we were children...) was reverted to the pre-QC version by accident. However, it's very minor and will be fixed in episode 3. This line is correct in episode 1.

But other than that, this episode still works.

• This episode takes place on Tuesday, April 9th and Wednesday, April 10th.
• What's the big deal about Kazune City's powers? The people who were born there think it's quite normal because having a special power is common. I for one am glad that they didn't explain this like every other heavy-handed show would have done.
• What's the song in our pre- and post-episode splashes? Hoshi no Ko (Girl of a Distant Star), featured in Wind -a breath of heart- Songs2 and sung by Minamo!
